Consulco has purchased and donated children toys, heaters, blankets, clothing, shoes and books to the Bournera and Kofinou camp refugees.
The gifts for all the refugee children and the supplies were delivered to the two overcrowded refugee camps, by Consulco, on Thursday 30th December.
“The Cypriot society must make all possible contributions and take all necessary measures to ensure the humane treatment and acceptable living standards of those refugee families in need because our grandparents, parents and ourselves have been in the same refugee camps and in the same war displacement situation less than 50 years ago. Empathy, a word known and used by many nations in many languages around the globe is Greek after all” commented Elena Hajiroussou, the Consulco CSR director.
